You can download some photo recovery software. Some are free, and some may charge.
But no matter which one you choose, remember do not put more pics or other files in the same place(somewhere in the cameraï¼ where your deleted photos were stored. After you deleted the photos, the data itself isnât deleted; just the area where the deleted data was stored is now marked as free space for other new files to be written. So once you put other files in it, this free space will be overwritten by others, which makes it difficult to retrieve the previous data.
Then download the recovery software to your computer. If your photos are important, I think the professional ones would be better even if they charge, for they are of high security and quality.Such as this one:

Q. we just got this new CNEX Camera quite nice has IRDA and all that good stuff

i was looking at GEOVISION Software which i think might work but couldnt find a free download or torrent.

You cant view cameras unless you are give permission CCTV Closed Circuit TV (note the closed circuit)

95% of cameras and DVR will not allow you to view them with the I phone or other smart phones.
And even then you need permission and password.

I have an AVI file copied from my jobs security camera, how can I get rid of the encryptions on it?

Something funny happened at my job. I found the clip on our security cameras and saved the file to my flash drive. I got it home and the file is encrypted and I can't play it. Is there some sort of software I can use?

If you wanted this file avi codec you could go to the site and download it yourself instead of making a copy from your job. When jobs have files on their company computers they will have them encrypted incase some employees wanted to comy them like you did. Just delete the file and go to avi codec.com and download a free copy there.

How can I record off of my security Camera?

I have a security camera. That has night vision on it. Problem is I don't have a dvr. What I do have is my cpu, a digital cable box that has dvr, and the camera and receiver. Is there anyway I can record footage with these items? If not what would be my cheapest route?

If the cam receiver has a USB plug, it can tether to the computer.
If it's "Plug-n-Play" it should be detected and self power through the USB line.

Then, since video takes huge amounts of hard drive, you want a 'motion detection' software, to capture things that are moving while in the camera's field of view. That reduces the space needed on the drive.

Hook all of these things up and test it indoors to see how it works, alignment, and so on.

If you want a wired solution you can visit www.frys.com and they have some affordable systems. If running wires might be a problem, look into a wireless system.

Used to use D-Link wireless for our medical office clients, and the only requirement is a power source. You can sometimes tap into the 110v for a power outlet using the fluorescent/incandescent lamps source. Just make sure the wireless camera is a few feet away from lamp to prevent EMI issues.

The advantage is that the signal can be viewed by your office PC, no special monitor or other equipment necessary (except wireless access point $40+). If you want to record the signal for review later you can use an external or additional internal 100G hard drive. This will give a single camera about 7-days worth of footage, including audio.

As I am not aware of your area, you may have to look into a weatherproof housing for the camera, unless you can be certain the area it's mounted in will not be affected by rain, etc.

Look at the DCS-3420 wireless camera which offers both day and nite viewing (if the station closes at nite). http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=510

A lower cost solution is a DCS-5220, which has pan/tilt/zoom and can be controlled remotely. http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=546 This model was our favorite as it allowed a web based interface which could be accessed by the office managers or doctors to view what is going on in their offices.

D-Link cameras come with software for the PC free of charge, and allow multiple cameras to be viewed at the same time. Axis is another company offering similar products, but charges extra for software licenses beyond the initial license. Be careful when selecting a computer based camera system. Overall they are better, uses current PC in office, and most have remote access cabilities allowing you to view the feed from a remote location.

Webcams can do this with a little help from software. Of course a professional or consumer grade DVR is probably better suited for it. Having needed this myself in the past though, and being on a tight budget, with little time to implement. A shareware program and an old webcam is the quick, easy, and cheap solution!
