I need a wireless mountable security camera that I can keep on eye on with my pc computer. It also has to be at a reasonable price 150$ and under. are there any experts out there or people who know of a website?

Q. i have in greece my summer home where i do vacations for the last 10 years when we came back for easter or summer something was stollen or the home was robbed (we knew who but we couldnt prove it) at january the 1 st my home was vandalized from one of the neighboors and also took as land where we had our main doors some old bakery avoun and all cost 20000 euros and for that we put 6 security cameras {also my father owns a security company} so we put only sings that the place was protected by a security company and that we have security cameras and when i came back at 10 of mayand i saw on the recorder 2 of the thiefs and pressed charges on court.now the are making the neighboors a temporally court because they want 2 take off our security cameras because they are being anoyed[...it seems that they are bothered that they stole us and we have them on cam..] and they say that they dont want the security cameras. CAN U PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE ALSO CAN A LAWYER CAN ADVISE ME ANYTHING HE OR SHE THINKS THAT I SHOULD TELL ON COURT...?

Question about if I should install security cameras and scanners in my home(after burglary)?

Hi, I'm a 20 year old guy, who lives with his parents in a house. :)
So a few days ago we had a burglary in our house when no one was at home, they stole some random stuff like cameras, deodorants, some little money etc.
So now my parents want a camera and some scanners to be installed in our beloved house.
I'm against this idea of instaling a camera and scanner in our house, I also don't like to act out of fear, but rather wait before making the decision of buying this stuff.

My parents' arguments are only based on fear, they argue things like this will give us more protection, the robbers have maybe been taken pictures of your computer, guitars etc. to show their "friends" and maybe come again to take the things their friends were interested in, if you know what I mean. "They can come back for more, now that they know what we have"(They were on scooters, by them coming again my parents mean by car).

What is your thoughts?, have you installed these things in your house, are you against having these cameras and scanners installed?

This is by the first time we've been experiencing a burglary.

I have security cameras installed in my house for added security. However, cameras and scanners will not make a house burglar proof or even deter burglars. A few things to do to a house is check and make sure all windows are closed and locked. Make sure all exit doors are closed and locked. If they entered through the door by kicking it, maybe invest in a security strike plate. This offers a much stronger strike plate and uses 3 to 4 inch screws instead of the little 1 inch screws a regular strike plate has. Add deadbolts to exit doors. Use the keyed ones. These are the types that have to use a key to lock/unlock on both sides. A homeowner wants to either make their house less eye catching or make it harder and longer to gain access into.

Also, most burglars will not come back to get more. They are impulsive and will go elsewhere to get more.

Hello. I want to be able to access my security cameras at work from home. I got an app on my phone called "i-smart" to do this. I was able to access the cameras through this app while I was at work on the wi-fi at work, but once I switch to my phone's 3G or used the wi-fi at my house it told me connection failed and it would no longer connect. How can I fix this as to where I am able to connect remotely to the security cameras regardless of what internet connection I am using? Thanks!

My friend recommend me the Uniden UDW10003 Wireless Video Survillance (check link below). But since I am a person that do a lot of research before buying anything I was a little skeptic before buying it.

But after all the research I found out that this security cameras for your home is actually really good. its a sweet little system that works as you expect it to work. and it is within your budget. Definately worth a buy. Good luck!!
