I need help. I want to set up a wireless security camera in my business in the Philippines and view activity here in the United States. Can someone out there guide me on what I need? (e.g. cameras, software, computers, etc..) I want to set up at least 4-8 wireless camera throughout the building. I want something not too fancy and not to pricey.. Let me know?

Since you are going to have to supply power to your surveillance camera, you may as well hard wire it, since WiFi cameras can be hacked, so there goes your security.
Buy a moderately priced IP camera with good weatherproofing and securely attach it where no one can vandalize or steal it.
Then set up your server attached to the internet and open a port on your firewall to allow you to address the IP address from anywhere in the world .. You will want to password access to the camera

What electrical wire to use for 12V outdoor security cameras?

Hello,
I am going to be installing security cameras at my business. The video is sent wirelessly to the receiver, but each camera needs to be wired for power. All it says on the website is 12V power. What wire do I run for this? Here is a link to the exact system if that helps: http://sylvaniastore.lorextechnology.com/product.aspx?id=2138#
Also, what end tips, transfomers, etc do I need in order to plug it into an outlet or hard wire?
Thanks!
Answer
The transformer comes with the DVR and cameras. There will be some cable with it to power the DVR. The cameras are wireless so you don't need to worry about wiring them. Should be a simple setup and nice system.
