To people with security cameras at home: How often do you check them?

I've always wondered in those big houses how often people check their security cameras at home, if they have them. Is it just when your house is burglarized or do you do it after every dinner party?

Probably in big houses with a lot of security cameras they have a DVR security system set up that records all the video cameras. With those computerized systems they can look at what different cameras recorded at different times.

They can also have it set up to receive cell phone alerts when a motion detector on a camera detects movement in a certain area. The cameras can also be viewed from a computer at another location.

Is it true that the government pays you when you get security cameras?

A friend told me that the government pays you to get security cameras/home survelliance system.

This isn't true.

The government pays you when you have children you can't afford to support, not when you get a home security system.
