I have not flown on a plan sense before 9/11. What are the new polices for walk on items like laptop computers or video cameras?

Answer
About 500,000 people take laptops on planes every day (actually, that is probably a low estimate). Anyway - no problems with laptops, cameras, MP3 players of any sort, video cameras, personal game players, personal DVD players. GPS units .... and so on.

When you get to the security screening, take your laptop out of its case or your bag or where ever it is, and put it into one of the plastic bins - all by itself - and push it into the x-ray machine. REMEMBER to pick it up at the other end (amazingly, some people forget!!).

ALL electronic devices must be turned off during takeoff until the cabin crew says it is OK to turn them on. They will also announce when you must turn them off during the approach to your destination. If your cell phone is also an MP3 player and you want to use it during the flight, make sure you switch the phone to "airplane" mode so it will not send out signals searching for a cell tower. Likewise, if you want to use your laptop, turn off any wi-fi capability.

And, in case you were wondering - the x-ray machine does not damage any electronics, and the TSA people do not care if you have illegal software or downloaded music and videos on any electronic item - they are looking out for the security of the plane, not anything on your hard drive.

Have a good flight.

Can i bring camera to concert at Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic City?

Asiko

Are you allowed to use camera there?

Answer
That will depend on who you are going to see. Some artists ban any camera that they might deem "professional" (high resolution pictures). Others don't care. It's really up to the performer. On the casino gaming floor itself is an issue. Most casinos ban cameras for a variety of reasons, most of them revolve around security and cheating.
