Where do I start with this rental company and their idiocy.
The first week that I moved into the apartment my car was broken into (locks were jimmied) in the parking garage that you need a security code to get into and is also monitored by security cameras. In total, $350 worth of stuff was taken. Within a few days, my apartment itself was broken into and someone took my iPad and other things left on the kitchen table. I have filed police reports on both incidents and am yet to hear back. They also stated that there probably wouldn't be much they could do about the break in because there are other crimes on campus (I live in a college town) that take priority, which I do understand. I also called the rental company to see if they could review the tapes, no call back.
This is the same rental company that gave us an apartment with a bathroom with a door that wouldn't close, a flooding sink, and a nonworking TV plug-in.
Tonight, I went to my car to get groceries and my car was yet again broken into. Nothing but some change was taken from my car, but everything was in moved and messed with. Back seats were folded down to get into the back, front seats were moved, glove box was left open. The locks were jimmied again as well.
I know of two other cars being broken into during the month that all of the tenants have moved in and the rental company is very aware of that. I'm deeply concerned about not only my safety, but that of everyone else. Because if someone walks down into the parking garage and finds someone breaking into a car, there really is no where for them to run away in a fast manor at all. So they would probably end up trying to hurt whoever ran in on them breaking into a car. I'm at the very beginning of a one year lease and I don't have the money to give them to terminate my end of the lease.
Does anyone have any suggestions on getting this taken care of?
Answer
Take a close look at your lease. Although you may be bound to a fixed number of months, many leases have an "out" clause that allows a tenant to break the lease for certain circumstances without penalty. Our building caught fire and while our apartment wasn't directly damaged, it created unfavorable conditions that allowed us to move without breach of lease issues. Sounds like you have both safety and economical concerns that you may be able to contest.

Tom cruise used a thin wire camera connected to an iPad spying on a security guard. The camera was connected to the charging port and could bend and stay in that angle. If u watched the movie u would know what I'm talking about

Doesn't exist, what you describe is a video scope, and they don't make one for the ipad
