My package was stolen this morning from inside my front door, I was wondering if there's any laws preventing me from placing a security camera mounted on my window. I live in an apartment complex and my window is right above my front door. Thank you.

Around my house and my backyard I cached few black kids and got tired to call cop o them. I m thinking put security camera. Cant give decision which camera is good? Wireless with built in monitor or with dvd and I need extra cabel wires to join it? Plz help
