Answer
1) Serene
2) 47
3. VCRs, Microwaves
4) My family has a herditary disease called Marfan Syndrome. In the 70's there was no genetic marker back then to test whether you have the disease or not. Now they do.
5) Candid camera, reality show scaring people, so that's the same. But that was about the only one back then. No cable back in the 70s. Only the local channels were available.
6) Zero tolerance wasn't in place back then. Fights were fights with fists, not guns. And cops were not at schools until they were called, which they rarely were.
7) Medicine.
8) Far too many laws limiting our freedom of everyday things, replacing a dishwasher in your own home, you have to get a permit from the city to do that. A million laws limiting food now, which is just ridiculous, all the security at the airports is ridiculous.
9) More and more laws restricting our freedoms.
10) drugs, sex at younger and younger ages, many more choices then before, the web has opened porn to the younger generation when it was not available back then.
11) Choices in high schools for specific interests, the amount of info on the web is incredible, the # of subjects to major in college is also incredible, as well as the ease of travel.
12) pessimistic, because of the laws to our freedom. As well as humans don't appear to get any smarter as time goes by. Girls are still stupid enough to believe boys who tell them they love them to get sex, women are still stupid enough to fall for married men telling them they'll leave their wives, people still don't understand we are all one people.

Usps Problem. What to do?

I got a confirmation that my package was delivered today, when i got home there was no package in the mail box or at my door? So i went to the post office and all they could tell me is that I should have it. So I looked on my security camera's and the mailman didn't even stop at my house she just drove past it. Yet it was delivered? I called and told them and they told me mail doesn't get delivered on the weekends so i have to wait till monday to do anything. It was a 80 dollar package and i have evidence it wasn't delivered, if by the off chance she just forgot to stop and give it to me and confirmed it at the office which looking at the times that it got to the office and then supposedly to my house she didn't can i get my money back?

Answer
I would call USPS at 1-800-257-8777 and press 0 and then press 0 again. They are open on Saturday. Give them the tracking number and tell them what you saw on camera. It may have been stolen. I would aslo call USPS Postal Inspectors at 1-888-877-7644 and press 3 and tell them the situation. If they can't seem or won't help you,you will need to write the the address below. Give them the tracking number and tell them what you saw. USPS still delivers mail on Saturday (as on August,2012). Try going to your post office and see if you can pick it up.
