wireless home security camera system?

im looking for an affordable wireless home security system to record on my pc and not the television. does anyone know of one thats affordable and easy to install ?

Go with IP cameras, they tie into your local network, thats going to be the most affordable. There are some at security-cameras-cctv.com and they helped me set mine up over the phone.

Security Camera System For Hospital?

We have a small hospital. My boss asked me to look into getting a new camera security system. 4 for the general hospital, and 1 mobile wireless one that we can move to a patient's room in order to observe them if need be.

I went to school for computer networking, not security camera installation :P Can someone give me tips about them? Good brands? Technical specs I should keep in mind? Maybe link me to some easy all in one solutions the meets my requirements above?

Stay away from wireless - HIPAA issues due to network security. Run cables to each room, move the wired camera as needed. Do not put the surveillance system on any network connected to the internet. Again - HIPAA issues.

Stay away from inexpensive consumer-grade cams, DVRs and monitors. You will merely replace them in a couple of months.
