I am having stalking issues with an ex and need a security camera to record the goings on outside of my front door and garage. Unfortunately, this guy is slippery and no dvo/epo's have stuck. I need a camera that is small(ish), battery operated, motion activated, and wifi. Please help so that I can show what is really going on.
I should have also added battery powered. x10 didn't have any battery powered cameras.

Answer
There is NO such camera. There are plenty of wireless cameras, the quality is VERY poor on any that are supposedly of wifi type and connect to the computer. Battery life is rubbish, They have NO low light vision at all, regardless of the promises. In any case most computer connect cameras are not good. If this is a serious problem you need to consider a proper CCTV camera, These can range from a pinhole or wide angle lens box camera that would fit into the size of a cigarette packet or smaller. These would work well from a 12v battery (alarm type). some go true black/white at night. You would then need a video capture card in the machine. Better is to use a proper CCTV DVR (digital video recorder).
Then there are outdoor day/night cameras, bigger but much better resolution. IR (infra red) versions give perfect night vision but DO tend to glow red at the IR lights, making them possibly visible. There are a few wireless versions, more expensive and again need a 12v battery, with a receiver inside the building connected to a capture card or DVR. At closer range these are VERY good. Again the IR may make them visible. Then there are a lot of "secret" or "covert" devices, mostly just gimmicks, relying on fiction convincing people they can get James Bond type devices. Only if you want to spend many thousands on ONE camera!!! Take a look at the link below t will give you some good ideas, and NONE of their equipment is bad.

Also this link, mounted under an overhang these cameras are very good, but otherwise not really outdoor.

You can actually feed all normal CCTV cameras into a composite video input (the yellow input of a phono to scart lead) so you could use an older VHS video recorder or a TV hard drive recorder.
