I work for a large corporation and recently they have implemented a system, where by they use security camera footage to now on a bi-daily basis to gauge our performance. I never consented to have this footage be used to gauge my performance at work, I was wondering if this is at all legal, because in my opinion, it doesn't seem like this is a legitimate business pratice. Any help would be appreciated.

you obviously have a high opinion of yourself and your importance to this employer, I hope you are correct because if you are wrong and continue with this attitude you will find yourself unemployed rather quickly....



if you do your job the way you are expected to all this footage will do is verify the fact that you are a good employee, if they see anything other than that; it is YOUR fault....

My computer died, got a new one, now I can't monitor my security cameras from the computer?

All I want to do is monitor the cameras from the home computer (no remote stuff). I don't have an installation disk, the company that installed it is no longer in business and is not helping me. I have a router, but it's probably not hooked up right, if you could tell me how that's supposed to be. How can I tell my computer it has a security camera system? Thanks, I'm totally lost with this stuff.

You need the software on your computer. Go to the security camera manufacturer's website and see if you can download the software from there.
