My uncle just recently installed a security camera in front of the house. I share a room with his daughter/my cousin. Today, like lately, we've been keeping the window open. Our room is the only room that has its window facing the front of the house. Is it possible that since the window is open, he can hear our conversations clearly even though I mumbled what I didn't want to be heard?
This camera records Audio. For sure.

in state of virginia...neighbors got security camera pointing towards our house. im thinking about setting one up towards their house.

As long as he's off your property with the camera, your neighbors can film anything in view, even strait through your windows. This can even film you from the street if they wanted. They only have to remain off your property in order to do this without your consent. I would suggest shutting your curtains or blinds to keep your naked butt from showing up on voyeur porn sites.

You have the same rights as your neighbors. Feel free to set up a camera right at the edge of your property line, pointed strait at your neighbor's window.
