I bought a wireless 4ch DVR Security Camera system?

I bought a wireless 4ch USB DVR Security Camera system from eBay. But after all I got a camera system I didn't want.

Because it does not record all four cameras at the same time and can't hear the sound from the mic of the cameras.

SO I am wondering If I can use another receiver/dvr software on the wireless cameras to record all four cameras?!

(btw I have Windows 7-64bit)

I cant seem to find a home security camera system online that is windows 7 compatible, wireless, and USB connects to a PC. Looking to spend a few hundred dollars.
