Hi! I'm going to a Coldplay concert in late June (I'm so excited!), and I was wondering if I can take this type camera to the concert?

I haven't purchased the camera yet, but when I do I want to be able to take it to the concert? Do you think I'll be able to, or is it too big?
P.S. If you want to know, the camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ47.
This camera has video too, just so you know.
Answer
That's ok, I've brought a similar sized camera to a Coldplay concert a few years ago. But it really depends on the venue and how tight their security wants to be. General rule is no cameras with detachable lenses.

Is this camera considered a professional camera?

So, I am going to Warped Tour in 3 days and my dad go t me a camera for my birthday that takes some really good photos and such and I want to bring it but I'm not sure if they would consider it a professional camera.
So is this : http://www.fotoez.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/productGalleryImg_repeated_11.jpg
considered a professional camera? People say a professional camera you can change out the lens on it and this one you can't. So is or isn't it? Its a fugipix s4080 camera.
Answer
A professional camera is any camera used by a professional photographer. When in the hands of a professional photographer, a Diana is a professional camera. When in the hands of someone lacking skill and knowledge, and not being paid, a Canon 1Ds is an amateur camera.
The security people at the Warped Tour will probably let that camera through. That doesn't make it either "amateur" or "professional" though.
Peace.
