motion sensing software?

Luke

is there a software for mac or windows or any operating system that can use the camera as motion sensing and take pictures whenever motion is detected and video after motion stops send all files to email address also connect to and ipod touch and disable itself once the ipod is there. or is there any other way to do this that can be done also i have 20 years of computer using experience and am willing to learn anything to do this. if there is not will i have to program this myself please tell me.

Answer
Most new computers that have built in camera come with software from the manufacturer that can do exactly what you are asking with video or still photos. I have an acer and lenovo that both can record video or pictures and email them to an address. They also have options for sensitivity of the motion sensor and a few other features. You may want check that first, but if not there are some other software options. This is the only free option that I have had success with in the past:

software update for my mac?

Rachel_Cre

i got my macbook in early march (2007), and since ive been using it, from when i first turned it on, a software update popped up.(its not a pop up) and i dont know if itll take up my memory (like its supposed to be there) or if its just a software update. cause, id like the things for it, front row, itunes update, security, and stuff that helps my camera be better(somehow). should i update it?
and another thing, how do you get DVD's on to your itunes library? cause i have movies i want to see on my mac without having to put the disc in everytime.

Answer
yes. if it actuallt SAYS software update, then go for it. for some reason, my olddd iBook didnt have ANY memory, so i didnt, and i kinda regretted it.
