Looking for a Security Camera that Streams to the Internet for Live Monitoring and Capture. Anyone Make One?

Eric

Looking to add a bit of security to my home. So I am seeking a camera that streams video to the Internet for live monitoring and and will capture in the cloud. Does anyone make something like that?

Thanks in advance!
Eric

I had one from Lorex before, but it wasn't all 'recorded' in the cloud. I was able to view live footage from my iphone/android or laptop, but it would only record it when I set it to from my laptop (and it stored it on my laptop...using a lot of storage space). It did have a 'motion detection' feature though, it would take pictures and send the pictures to my email when motion was detected, or record to my laptop only when motion was detected. That came in handy.

If your looking for something that records all footage so that you can rwd/fwd/pause your going to be spending a pretty penny on a DVR/storage.

With mine, the camera required the minimal following:
A power source (I plugged mine into an extension cord coming from my porch)
A WiFi connection

It all depends on how much $ you would like to spend as to whether you can get what you want or not.

How do I set up a Wifi security camera to stream online and/or to a device with an internet connection?

I use an extender/repeater to get my primary signal. This allows me to use my laptop in my store. But, I'm not always in my store. I want to get a Wifi security camera but I don't know how I can set it up on my present extended connection. I know that some will send a signal direct to my Wifi tablet/phone, but wouldn't that require me switching connections from my internet to the camera signal? If possible, I want to be able to continue to operate on my internet connection, while having the ability to monitor and/or save the camera stream to my device. Is this possible? and.. how is it possible? If I wanted the camera to stream to a web address, would that also be possible using an extended internet connection? Remember, using an extender does not have a hard-line. Please, any help is greatly appreciated.
