Can plug it into your computer, and use it like a laptop (kinda)
Cons-
Doesnt have the 8mb back camera nor the 2mb front camera that the Evo does.
^^ That is the only thing holding me back from getting the Atrix.
I found very good prices on ebay. Both used. The atrix is $20 more. I just cant decide. This is just a starter android for me, but I want it to be durable and last atleast 2yrs.
Which do you like better baised on personal experience?
Btw if I didnt have a budget I would have bought the Samsung Galaxy S II without any questions.
wait wait! I just read that the Evo does NOT have a SIM card slot?? Therefore can not be used with other services like AT&T?? Is this true?

Let me correct some CON thing here..
Both are roughly the same size. Unless your autistic like RainMan was and can tell the difference in .16mm. LMAO
All Androids will lag if the user (you) doesnt maintain the software (wiping cache) and watch your memory intake. Dual Core/ single core / 646749640784964075 Core or whatever "core" CPU has only a SMALL part in laggyness on Android. That is RAM. RAM is the amount of data thast can be stored by programs in the background. The more RAM, the faster your phone will be. CPU is the brain. The bigger the brain, the faster your software will be. But, if you fail to maintain the phone, even the greatest of androids will lag... This is called User Error. And you see it ALL THE TIME on Yahoo Answers!
The camera... oh the camera.. one of the biggest marketing ploys.... If you plan on putting pics on facebook and twitter or printing out 3x5 pictures at walmart, then 3MP-5MP is all you need. If you plan on going to Wal-Mart or CVS or Walgreens or Exkerds are wanna make a camera photo into a HUGE WALL SIZED professional portrait (somethine bigger than 11"x20" frame), then you need 8MP+... Photography 101.. the bigger the printed picture = the more megapixals (MPs) you need..... dont be a brainless drone and fall for the marketing!
Ebay and Craiglist.... if you wanna be scammed... buy a cell phone on these sites!!!!!!! If you dont wanna be scammed, you use www.swappa.com....
Personally, based on the link above... Atrix wins this technical spec contest... hands down!
EDIT-------wait wait! I just read that the Evo does NOT have a SIM card slot??
-------correct... its CDMA only (Sprint, Verizon, metroPcs, etc)
Therefore can not be used with other services like AT&T?? Is this true?
---------100000000000000% true.... CDMA and GSM technology cant be mixed... IF you want the EVO class phone on ATT, look at the HTC Inspire or the all NEW HTC Vivid (much better than Atrix!)
